Shamika serves as a board member and client ambassador for Candlelighters of Brevard. She attended Old Dominion University receiving her degrees in Women’s Studies, English Creative Writing, and African American Studies. She continued her studies, attaining her Master’s degree in Education. Shamika was a finalist in Lead Brevard’s “4 Under 40” award and serves on the board of directors for several Brevard County organizations. Shamika was born with a servant’s heart. From prior careers in hospice to education, Shamika’s passion has always been to help others. Shamika is the mother of three beautiful children and a Candlelighter’s Angel.
